Bojinov

We need 5 strikers.

Boj, Caicedo, Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Sturridge would be mine, and Sturridge may walk away (if he's mad enough)

Don't think you'll see much of the legend in his own head that is Daniel Sturridge in a City shirt mate.
I say good riddance to Billy big time and his entourage.

sorry bojinator but i see more in caicedo... caicedo, bellers, tevez, rsc and eto'o thats all we'll need. assuming we dont get eto'o i might be inclined to keep him though but he wouldnt make a 1st team place

I hate to say it, because I had high hopes of the Boj' but i don't think he has enough pace for the premiership especially when he is a short arse as well.

why do people say Bojinov's got such a great "eye for goal"? his scoring record (thoughout his whole career) is really poor.

I realise he's had two very bad injuries but he's not shown anything for me. He plays too deep. Strikers should be in the box a lot more and that's why Caicedo wins for me. Caicedo does what a striker should do, gets into scoring positions. Bojinov spends too much time being the link up man and out on the flanks. We don't need that. We have a 5 man midfield to do that. I realise I speak in really basic terms, but it is the striker's job to score the goals.

i want him to stay

but one thing i dont understand, bojinov has had two almost career threatening injuries, in two seasons, and has only played a handful of games, and want him to stay, getting a wage etc

but they dont want to take a risk on RSC because he has been injured before?

'Cos the money's already spent. It's not like we're splashing out the cash, it's just keeping what we've already got. I tend to think he's got "it" and we should persevere

i think that if we get the 3 strikers in,we shouldnt be looking to sell,we should be looking to loan some of these players out, Boj,Casaido,jo,if we can get them loaned out to prem clubs, give them a chance,if they have a good season there value goes up,

I agree with your points!
Caciedo is,despite what some poeple say,a natural finisher-pretty hopeless outside the box but getting better all the time in it.
Boj does play a lot outside the box-but his playing style reminds me very much of Rooney(without the granny-shagging and tiresome wind-up antics) who plays that link-up man role for scum.

he has something that most strikers in the prem dont have... that fernando torres instinct in front of goal.

he is class, ...!

Probably but he is too fat and slow!

We need 3 top strikers we will sign either eto or tevez, not both.
The people who want boj to get 'a chance' next season will be the same ones who will complain when he dosnt perform or gets injured. I dont think in a season where we are trying to prove ourselves as world beaters; we can afford to take such a big risk.

Sentiment doesn't come into where we are going, I love the guy but we will have new heros so if he does go I wish him well.
