Surprised that a few teams didn't ask about his availability just before the season started, equipped with the TV deal money. He doesn't fit our system but he would be ideal playing regular for Stoke, Sunderland, West Ham.

Could also have spearheaded Villas front line to bounce straight back up and utilise him like Swansea did.

Hope wherever he ends up he gets back on track.

Truthfully I'd be happy just selling him and not loaning him. I'm not bothered by the fee. We just need to move him on as he is the wrong type of player for our system (and always has been)
