Been reading about the costs for Liverpool supportetd planning/trying to get to the Ukraine for the final. Being ripped off for all transport modes and all accomodation. Can't see how you can do it for under £1K. Why on earth do we value this competition? I have bood the Anthem for years. I keep on going to the home matches but beginning to consider opting out next year.

Some standard hotels are £2k for two nights that I've seen. Perhaps they're getting their insurance paid up front for when they brick and bottle the hotel on arrival.

Nailing everything down to stop them stealing the lot is expensive as well. As is replacing the nails when they're stolen.
