Booing the Champions League Anthem

The booing continues for me and I guess most fans because UEFA continues to ignore evidence of fans being mistreated as well as some strange decisions.

Take the treatment of our own fans attacked by Madrid police and just seen footage of an arsenal fan being clobbered for no reason.

I believe the Madrid police are a rule to themselves in Madrid and not well liked by some locals so it's not as though UEFA can dictate here. But the answer is not just sit back and do nothing, it's actually to look into what is going on. Can't just brush it under the carpet.
UEFA are very heavy handed with the club and fans at city, I've experienced this. But yet they do turn a blind eye in other areas.

Pep did once say he doesn't understand why the fans boo, well of course this is what came though media not through fans chatting to him. But recently he was quoted in saying he does understand that if fans have a protest then thats for them to.
 
Whether anyone agrees with this or not doesn’t really bother me. I for one enjoy the booing because I’m a little bit anti establishment, but I also think the UEFA organisation is riddled with corrupt practices that masquerade as poor officiating and favouritism and this is our little way of making our feelings known.

Part of me thinks that this kind of behaviour is in our DNA. We are not a people (Mancunians) to liedown and just take it.......

I think peeps needs to get over our gripe with uefa. I think it's immature. That was back then and this is the now. Move on its getting tedious.

I wonder if the chiefs of Uefa mafia have ever debated this one. Choose two final venues, when the final two teams are through then decide best venue that suits fans and both teams for travel. Because after all this is a competition for fans / players not the money.

But that would be simple.

Yes we started booing because of the ill treatment of city fans & Bayern as well. But that was the icing, people disliked the running of uefa and fairplay way before the bad treatment of fans. Since then all Uefa have done is p'd more fans off with its fines and bully tactics. So we boo, its simple !

The stadium is fantastic ans it’s one of the nicest cities in Europe
