I read The Harry Quebert Affair not long ago

exceptional.

Apparently it was made into a drama series a while back but I haven’t seen it

I put my recommendation in the Bluemoon forum by mistake a couple of days ago.

It's All About Treo is the story of a Army dog handler, Dave Heyhoe (a City fan) and his dog Treo who is a explosives search dog. The story is about their time together in Afghanistan. It's sometimes very frightening and sometimes extremely funny.

Heroes the pair of them and many soldiers stayed alive because of their work

Just finished this on your recommendation mate, I knew Ranger Cupples. Thanks was great read and as you say what a pair of heroes

Glad you liked it ob, very sad about Ranger Couples. I think Dave has his own dog training business now, somewhere in Cheshire

I'm a couple of chapters into: Sapiens - A brief history of humankind.

Really enjoying so far, my kind of book.

Started reading Friday Night Lights, a non-fiction book about a Texas college football team. A good read so far.
Really enjoyed that. Got me into American Football. Even less time in my life now!

Half way through Erebus by Michael Palin which is a fascinating read.

Don't read the sequel - it'll have you slitting your wrists!

It's fantastic. They made a great film out of it too, in 2004, and an equally great TV series. The soundtrack for the movie got me into Explosions in the Sky, and that got me into one of my favourite pieces of music - 'Your Hand in Mine'. I'll stop gushing now... you're in for a treat Ric.
