Borat 2 to premier in the US on October 23rd

I've not watched it and not that intertesed other than the clip I saw where the women in it managed to get into the White House!

Are they not a bit samey thes Borat films? How many are there, I've watched at least one and my thoughts are that it wokrs in clips/sketches but not as an actual film

Some of his bits are utterly hysterical. I like when he "gets" some loathesome pol like Giuliani.

Less so when he entraps some regular person. Doesn't work as comedy for me as he is taking advantage of somebody who may not be sophisticated enough to know any better. And doesn't work IMO as social commentary because you can find ignorant hateful morons in any country. And of all political persuasions.

The guy is a brilliant character actor imo. Good, well written comedy is meant to push boundaries, it always has, and always should. It's a vent for the steam of normality.
I'm glad he's still doing it, still being imaginative, keeping his characters relavant.
The fact that it stirs discussion and debate does it for me.
Weather you find it funny is irrelavant, he's out there doing it, when most would back out and do panto or something.
Fair play to him.

There’s two. The thread title is a bit of a give away. ;)
