Boro Post Match thread

Guardiola chucked two points away there. We all know that there are no gimmes in the Premier League, especially not against relegation threatened teams. So what does the genius do? Changes half the personnel and decides to alter the formation thus making the fixture which was always going to be tough even tougher.

He has got to learn this is not La Liga. Real and Barca immediately following a hard fought Classico changed their sides totally, left out key players and both scored 6 goals and won at a canter. This is not going to happen here and Pep's arrogance is threatening our participation in the CL next year, which would be ironic as he was brought here to improve us in said competition.

whats the obsession with all the pep haters to keep pointing out how hes 'a genius or the best manager in the world', doesnt mean we are going to win every game or play well all the time. he had to make changes today, sane and sterling needed chaining as they've been out of form for weeks now.

We have been our own worst enemies this season, again poor defending, cant protect a lead and this time wrong selection. It was clear that if we had started with Sane and Sterling we would have won fairly comfortably.

Said this in the match thread but we don't deserve champions league if we don't kill these sort of teams off; with arsenal at spurs and united blowing it we had a huge chance to nail a top 4 position

It was nowhere near as bad as suggested. Boro got some lucky goals, and were fighting for their lives. Immense pressure and we had the bottle not to fold.

We arent in great form at the moment which is a bit of a worry. We must win the next 3 home games and all are going to come and put 11 players behind the ball and hit us on break with pace. Pep got it totally wrong again today, just as he has done many times this season. The team needs to do much better next season, but so does Pep who I think has struggled to adapt to the premier league this season.
Totally agree............

Boro deserved at least a point. The game had everything.

Boo fucking hoo, we got a point at Boro. We've only won there once in the league in the last 20 tries. Proud of the boys for coming back twice.

The manager will get it right, and we will see more of that 5 at the back next year, but with the right players to do it and do it well. We've really got some precious fuckers these days in our fanbase. No doubt that plays a big part in our embarrassing atmosphere at home games.

His football is as slow as it can be, he is clueless in the premier league, despite spending another 250mill this summer I await the same results I'm done with it now, I'll never give City up but hate slow European football, I'd sooner see defend and counter fast, compared to side pass side pass side pass fuckin side pass

I just hope Pep can pull off the near miracle required to deal with such a huge transformation. I think we may have to brace ourselves for a big crisis next season that could see us struggling for many a year.

Played in a Semi on Sunday,a derby on Thursday, against a team scrapping for their lives today.....with a team hit by injury and a lack of depth.....and we get an away point that may be critical at the end of the season.
Arsenal played in a semi Sunday, played a Leicester team a night before us and have a derby today, shit happens but they won the semi, then beat Leicester, so your point is, managers know the premier league, and oh it's his first season he inherited an ageing squad doesn't wash either, conte first season he inherited a squad but is on for a league and cup double

Pep out....lol.
