Boro Post Match thread

Middlesbrough have been charged by the @FA after failing to control their players during the 2-2 draw against City on Sunday.

Good I thought that De Roon bloke was going to physically attack someone, including the ref! We cop it all the time it fitting others do as well.

If Pep looks at this forum, he would probably feel like leaving if he thinks so many fans don't believe in him. He doesn't need the money. We're all brassed off, but no two ways about it, Pep is a special, special manager. What would you prefer - instant success that soon peaks and goes downhill or something more long lasting that takes longer to build ? Sheikh Mansour has waited seven years for Pep - don't take SM for granted.

Thy are scrapping for their lives though and it wasn't a great decision so I can see why they were annoyed. I don't mind seeing a bit of passion now and again.

If it hadn't been for Gibson, Fabio or De Roon may have punched the referee, and then they started on our players. After all the crap decisions we've had this season, I've never seen our players completely lose their heads like that.

He isn't going to read the forum though is he? If he did and fucked off after a bit of criticism I would say fuck the soft ****. He is getting paid mega bucks and everyone is bending over backwards to try and help him with players etcetera, he has carte blanch to do as he wants here so no sympathy from me.

When you say long lasting what do you mean ? Soriano has told us numerous times he's sees a manager being affective for no longer than three to four years , seen as Pep has already done one season and by all accounts next season being another 'transition' whats going to be long lasting about it?

And secondly won't every other team in the PL improve or are they going to lie down to make Peps job easier?

There's nothing long lasting about it - when he's gone his Spanish mates won't be far behind him- perhaps we can then tear up the Barca Lite template and become another clubs clone - Madrid anyone ?

Pep is a sensitive sort of guy - not the usual hard-faced cliche ridden manager. He's an unusual type. We've hired him because those in the game know he's special. We all have opinions but if any of us on this forum were capable of organising a team and implementing tactics we wouldn't be sat here angrily knocking out messages on our keyboards and working in fish and chip shops (a worthwhile job if you ask me).
