Borussia Dortmund (A) | CL | Post-Match Thread

During the match the commentators were talking about when the prem resumes after the world fiasco. Ours starts back in December and the bundesleague in the end of January has does laliga ( I think). And they were saying it gives those countries an advantage over us with more rest time. Our schedule is busy when we come back and I personally think the advantage is with us because game time keeps you on top of your game and with the rotation we have barring injuries to key players will put us in good staid.

I thought we played really well in the second half.
Okay we did not score but a really comfortable draw.
Because he completely changed the tactics and personnel, the second half we played mostly 3-2-4-1 with Gundo moving further up front and John sweeping alongside Rodri and as a consequence we completely took over the control of the MF. I would really like to see Gundo playing the false nine when we are stuck against 5-4-1.

No wonder Erl is injured. 135 minutes of football, and 480 miles of travel in the space of a few hours! ;)

Spending almost 500 euro on a trip to watch that garbage, however the away end was great, fans in top voice as always

We are simply suffering a little bit more than usual because of the injuries in two key components.

Walker for his recovery pace and Phillips for the pivotal holding role and rotation with Rodri.

It was a very poor game and was more pronounced because both teams didn't need to win.

I will say Mahrez is stealing a living for a while and is clearly going through the motions.
