Some absolute fannies on here. It's all about the result, form and entertainment is irrelevant when we've already qualified, just need to secure the group win and we're 3 weeks away from the world cup.
Very professional performance, completely controlled the game against a fairly good dortmund side in a hostile ground. Not sure how anybody can be remotely upset with that.
Job done, doesn't appear to be any injuries, minutes into stones and alvarez, rests for others, can't ask for more.

Poor game, but we top the group that's all that matters. Defensively we were excellent, I thought Stones, Dias and Ake all played well. The less said about Mahrez the better, utter crap and surely Palmer deserves to start before him.

Job done. Important players got a bit of rest. Nobody stood out really. Just a dull, controlled game, which is all we needed.

I usually throw ‘pass them to death’ in certain games as City are bloody capable. Shame it didn’t happen against Madrid.Spot on that. Bored our way to top the group in a way we should have bored our way to the end of the game in Madrid.
We’ve not been boring enough in Europe.
Dortmund were absolutely terrible. Worst I’ve seen from them for years. Good defenders but they had nothing ahead of them.
A good advert for going back to a proper knockout tournament and getting rid of tedious group games.
Unfortunately UEFA have decided to add more.

We were better without him in the second half. He literally did nothing in 45 minutes, but to be honest he had no service.Pep & Bernie having words at the end, what was that about.
Win the group so we’ll done blues.
I do worry without haaland scoring or playing well in a game we seem a bit clueless & don’t cause much threat. Alvarez not this seasons back up for me. We really need an alternative striker

Was dieing for a pee second half but didn’t want to miss anything. Then we got a pen and I knew Mahrez was gonna take it so I had at least a minute of safety whilst we were not going to threaten their goal

I just don't understand how Mahrez keeps the penalty taker gig!

Won the group, clean sheet for Ortega, thought Gundo and Ake played really well. Haaland looks perfectly fine for Saturday. Game management with the WC round the corner. Box off the next couple of weeks then see where we're up to on Boxing Day.
