Needed a point to too the group.
Now have a free game where we could send out 10 kids and a free kick dummy in goal if we want to.
They didn't try to attack.
Missed penalties are always a pain but outside of that I'm really not concerned.
Like I said elsewhere, there was no urgency to win this game so I'm not particularly upset by the result. We won't remember this in a couple of weeks.

Lots of positives: Akanji, Dias, Ake,JohnBoy were all very good.
Our new Goalie didn't put a foot wrong
We have come a long long way. Totally controlled the game and would have won it if the penalty had been scored.

You can’t look into that game it was a dead rubber from the start,we’ve won the group that’s all that counts.

Aaaaaand ..... the overwhelming highlight of that game was ............... the final whistle. Sadly it was 90 minutes too late.
Man we need to buck our ideas up on Saturday. Good point and all that, but man that was bollocks to watch. Big sweaty hairy smelly bollocks. The worst City game I can remember for a long while. Ortega looked OK though if I had to search for a plus point.

Not a great watch but half expected the game to be like that considering we’re happy to win the group and Dortmund are happy to qualify.
Job done while resting some players . We have about 5 games in 18 days, So there’s really no need to go to hell for leather in a game like tonight where a draw benefits both teams.
It was definitely shite viewing but it is what it is

Shades of West Germany versus Austria in that last 10 minutes!
Positives are another controlled performance, got the result we needed without a huge amount of exertion and hopefully we will be ready and raring to go Saturday lunchtime.
