First half - awful. Second half - improved with the subs, but mind-numbingly dull. Eventually bored Dortmund to submission even with them looking dangerous on every counter.

I do worry without haaland scoring or playing well in a game we seem a bit clueless & don’t cause much threat. Alvarez not this seasons back up for me. We really need an alternative striker

Agreed. Alvarez might come good but he looks very green at the moment and after letting Jesus and Sterling go, we really needed somebody who could contribute straightaway.

Add in Mahrez being shit, and we look desperately short up top. We’ll have to buy somebody in January.

Actually thought City were v good second half. Did what they had to do, barely breaking sweat. Stones and Ake were excellent, which is really good news for us.

The Boys in Blue didn’t give in. They fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. You kept it under control and showed ‘em. Not your greatest performance but we didn’t lose and we topped the group. Job done.

How many thought he’d score it.. less than 10 per cent I reckon.
‘Nice Touch’ only good enough to start for league and FA cup games now. Why he was given a new contract is beyond me. Palmer from now on.

Awful match, but we really have just coasted through matches these last few weeks, not sure what is going on but we just seem lethargic. All the spark has gone so when Erling isn't getting the ball we look like we have no game plan. Kev, Foden even Bernardo all seem to have lost a bit of their ingenuity, Alvarez looked explosive when he first signed but he seems to have already had the attacking threat he showed coached out of him, I do think we almost try to play too disciplined and it stifles our own attacking threat at times.
