Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Apart from anything else, that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a substitute take up a place on the bench “so he can be here and support his teammates” rather than actually being available to play.

Thought we would lose this v a good side. Warning signs have been there all season, very lucky to beat Brentford, Fulham, Wolves etc.
Dreadful performance, lucky not to have been 3 down but got back into it only for our usual lack of having anyone decent at finishing in the team bar Haaland and even he missed a sitter. 4 on target from 19 attempts is sadly normal for us and extremely poor. Just too many tidy players who retain possession but are poor at putting the ball in the net throughout the squad.

Lack for everything in that game

Need to do better

Show some fight

Stop talking sense, it’s the end of an era
In a lot of ways, it is. The influence that Walker, Gundogan, and Bernardo have on this team has dropped. But that doesn't mean it has to be a sad end to an era. Just got to stay in touch, tighten a few things up, and we'll be reet.

If any of our players have an ounce of common sense they will be pulling out of international duty next week.
None of them look fit enough to be playing unnecessary extra games.

Awful until Lewis and Doku came on. Brighton next another tough one, especially with them getting the midweek to freshen up. Just got to hope we can stay in touching distance until January and get a couple bodies in to help out.

We often have one team each year that takes points of us in the home and away fixture… this year possibly could be Bournemouth and not the worse team it could be… just a shame it took us 80mins to do something
