Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

At the moment with all the injuries and players out of form it’s all about staying close until the new year. We are always better in the new year.

Deserved absolutely nothing, the worst 80 minutes of Pep's City. It would have been travesty if we got something out of this game. (And oh boy, I would've loved it.)
It is the mentality thing, if he cannot shore up thew mood in the team and only talk rubbish and 'we are in trouble' bullshit, than we are going nowhere.
I said it before here, we'll continue coming from behind until one day we don't, and today has been that day.
In my view he needs to do two things. First, he needs to do something about conceding goals, even the last season was poor and right now it is ridiculous. Total rethink is needed about the set up and regaining control. The amount of chances and shots on goal we are allowing has gone up 700% at least.
And two, this thing on relying on Haaland is just not working in the long run, there must be something else there.

The performances on the whole this season have been substandard to what we are used to. That goes for Pep aswell as the players.

Txiki and Soriano have not done enough to give pep the tools required.

This group of players are absolutely fantastic and I won’t be having a dig at any one individual.

At what point do we move on from past success and demand more without sounding like ungrateful wankers?

I hope this result galvanises us to make a title charge.

The defence can’t stop conceding.

The assists and goals have dried up.

The whole team look to be struggling. Is it due to injuries? Some probably or is it more to do with not being able to rise again which is no shame at all.

Be honest, are we watching a winning team? Not on current form this season.

I for one will try and temper expectations and if we manage to turn it around then it will be a bonus.

You can never rule us out and I am sure last season we had similar periods and still got over the line in the league.

I hope the performance levels increase. If not we might need a strong transfer window.

Anyway, how can you get upset with these players or coach. A drop off was always going to happen.

Rodri is also a huge loss.

Bournemouth were great and deserved the win.

The lack of creativity and passiveness recently has been terrible.

Wish we played with the urgency of the last ten minutes for the whole game.

Not sure where "stubborn Pep" stuff is coming from. He's trusts senior players and doesn't think the best way of getting a game out of teenagers is chucking them on while we are getting best and hoping they'll do something.

I don't see how anyone can question his tactics and squad management all things considered. It's just bad timing and bad luck. And for all that we are exactly where we need to be at this time of year.

Every dog has it's day, and Walker has had his. Great servant but he needs to be gone at the end of the season

Still confident of the league, but it's going to be a slog; a long fucking slog.

To be honest Bournemouth deserved all 3 points. Even with how poorly Haaland played I'm glad he wasn't playing for them with the amount of clear breaks they had.
