Yep. I thought maybe he was easing him in gently - not wanting any new injuries etc. But maybe he just doesn't fancy him? I thought he would be perfect for peps system. Good distribution, quick and good decision maker.

Baffled by Kompany not starting tbh. Need his experience plus calming assurance at the back. Without him, we could quite easily concede easy goals. That said I think we have too much upfront for their defenders to handle. 3-2 to us I think.

For me I don't know if Pep is trying to prove a bit of a point here (which i don't think a manager should ever do...i think they should all take their ego's out of the equation).

I can see why he has dropped Kun for the last couple but Id also expect him to at least see how they work as a pair.....if he doesn't at least try this then Id want to know why

The company one i just don't get..his comments the other day about distribution are just wrong....Kompany has equally good distribution as any of the other options (better than Ottomendis and Stones as well)...You could argue he is better than Kolarov as well in this sense in that he can use both feet whereas Kolarov is so limited to his left foot that in some circumstances he has to make a backward pass caue he can't use his right foot (or at least doesn't want to use his right foot)

He is certainly showing who is the boss now,albeit a little late,but we shall all be rejoicing come May when we lift the title,but winning tonight won't convince me just too much although 8 points is gonna be a good chase to do,come on CITY !!

I said arguably :) Don't think we'd lose too much width with Jesus left and Sané right, even with the two playing they'll cut inside and across the box at times.

I prefer Clichy in fairness, just about. Lesser of two evils in my opinion.

I think our forward options are enough without the 'but Kolarov is better going forward' reasoning.

Clichy has been weak for me.

Well that's kompany and aguero gone now.

That will become clearer after Monaco imo. Either way I think there is more of a chance of Kompany accepting a squad role in future. At least I hope so.
