Dinho was introduced at RB. Now Sagna goes where he started his career, LB.
I like that. Finally we need an alternative at LB instead of Clichy and Kola being CB. Delph maybe, or even Sagna. Let's see!

I said arguably :) Don't think we'd lose too much width with Jesus left and Sané right, even with the two playing they'll cut inside and across the box at times.

I think it's safe to say that all of that front three will be swapping all over the place as they get accustomed to each other.

Everyone is saying they are baffled Kompany isn't playing, he's the best centre back we've ever had, fearless, amazing at reading and intercepting play. He's ok at distributing the ball to the midfield and sometimes he does go on amazing runs but whenever he's got game time under Pep he's hardly recycled the ball well and has resorted to long balls a few times. Kompany is so good and intelligent though that I'm sure, fitness permitting, he will improve his passing game. But he shouldn't be walking right back in to a winning team.

Vinny remains a risk and Ota has had a niggle... Let's just wait and see, aye!!

if he has a niggle he shouldn't be on the bench. Anyway, maybe playing no defenders is our best way of defending.

Sane and sterling have both increased workrate, that's the point of the system....

If it's just those two then surely replacing one with Jesus' workrate wouldn't have a negative effect?

of course he does, his ego is massive.
we are a better team with joe, kun and vinny but that means nothing to Pep.

Pep likes a fluid formation in all areas, defence, midfield and attack, it's the theme that sticks out for me in his selections.
