Be nice to see us take the hand-break off and play slightly more risky in order to reap the rewards. I very much think that won’t be the case as we all know Pep is all about control over anything first.

Vital we win today though!! Fingers crossed we do just that and try get some consistency going as we are well and truly in the business end of the season and not much room for error now.

To be fair, we played with good intensity in parts of the last 2 games, especially first half of the games. In the forest game we created a lot of chances and played some direct football. We just couldn’t put chances away.

In the Leipzig game, we started really well and were direct but often couldn’t get the final ball right

So we can do it and sometimes do. The problem in some games is it seems we relax too much when we take the lead, the intensity seems to drop and we let teams back into it. We seen it in the Everton game, the last two games and even the game against the rags to a degree, even though we got shafted by bent officials.

I’m not sure why, it’s clearly a mentality thing too, it’s becoming too common for it not to be.
