Maybe the perfect solution for the players not passing the ball to Haaland is to put him in midfield and play him as a false nine. We can then pass the ball sideways to him. We do seem awfully good at that.

We should just make enquires into David Silva on a short term loan. Bernardo, Grealish, Gundogan etc. just aren’t capable of playing the direct passes that he needs. It’s tragic to watch at the minute.

I think we can afford to have Gomez at left back today. I think he and Jack would work well together. Phil on the right with Walker. Let's attack them today. Hope Kev is back.

I'm not sure we'll see gomez in a city shirt again. He always felt like a cfg signing that ended up in the squad because we couldn't find another lb.

I know he is not our long term answer at left back.. However in these kind of games I don't think his nievity would hurt us.

I wouldn't even want to see Mahrez starting, yes he scores the odd goal but he's virtually invisible whenever he starts for the time he's on the pitch
