Mmm. Just doesn't seem any point in dwelling on past games. I'm sure the players are dying to get them out of their system too. We're in a dreadful run of league form. Hopefully it can finish like last season...i think we were pretty bad in February and March too?
Hopefully it can. Seems strange to say I am dwelling on results yet you refer to last season, when we were 10 points better off, closer to the leaders, and lost 3 fewer games!

Anyway, it's not a case of me "dwelling" on results - it's a case of me using those results as a basis of forming my opinion of how the rest of the season will pan out. It just seems you have been saying for a while now we will turn things around. Your optimism is great, but seems a bit like blind faith.

I hope we finish like last season, and of course we can do. Realistically, though, it isn't looking likely.

Keep the blind faith.

Huge task for us to finish fourth this season given what has happened and where we are now.

Yeah, it's looking increasingly unlikely but if we can somehow win the next two (against Bournemouth and West Brom), it'll put pressure on United who play after us both times in relatively tricky fixtures (Everton home and Spurs away).

It's a big ask, given that we've failed to win back to back games for months (plus the PSG games in between), but the league table could look a bit more positive by the end of next weekend. Obviously we've still got West Ham to take into account too.

I would love the word if replaced with when Ric , but failing to win back to back for 5 months says it all I think.

I would have Bournemouth favourites to knock us over without Joe especially so maybe we can carry the underdog tag to victory again.

You would have made a fortune backing against City this year dare I say in the 15 games we have failed to win half our games played to date.
