Jeez, it was hot in the East Stand with the sun beating down. All we we were missing was pyrotechnics, flame throwers and smoke to heat us up some more and then make sure we couldnt see the first fifteen minutes of the game !!

At least they relaxed the no beer in seats rule.

That was a thoroughly professional performance againt a well drilled Bournemouth which actually defended quite well but didn’t show a lot of attacking ambition.

Haaland is a minster. He actually didn’t do to much today (I think his lay off to Gundo might have been his first touc) but you see his mere presence in the pitch unsettles the opposition. He is going to score a boatload this season but more importantly he will create space and opportunities for others to score.

We are looking very very good.
Haaland a minster? Is that a reference to York away?

I thought the pyro was ridiculous. There's a climate emergency. And the amount of smoke? I thought of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid:

Apologies if Ive missed something but I was under the impression you could substitute 5 players but only at 3 separate occasions , we did it in 4

One at half time? Maybe that doesn’t count as an occasion?

Just got back. I think it’s Ake and one other now, he was very good again today. Nice touch when Bernie came on. Became a training session second half in the heat. That was hot. Bernardo gave his shirt to a fan asking for his shirt which he saw. Surprised the media haven’t reported Haaland is off given he walked around after the game clapping all sides of the stadium :) Oh and £5.30 a pint !!!

Another training session in the sun against a team with zero intention of doing anything remotely attacking, some good finishes but overall a bit meh.

2 clean sheets and 6 points on the board is all that matters, just need Haaland to take a couple of these chances now as it won’t be long before he’s labelled the premierships biggest flop if he hasn’t scored 5145 by Christmas.
Fixed....

Did what was needed in the heat without really over-exerting themselves. Although Haaland didn't score he kept their defenders occupied (especially with the second goal). As for Bournemouth the ref helped them out with one or two of their challenges (especially that shithouse Smith) but they had a brief go much to their peril.
