From Sky's website "with the only surprise of the afternoon being Erling Haaland's failure to score on his home debut." 2 goals and an assist in 150 minutes of PL football, I'd say he's keeping up his average :)
If Haaland not scoring is a surprise, it will be a good season.

This may be a bit controversial for which I apologise in advance: I thought that Alfie’s lad was trying a little bit too hard at times today. He wanted a goal in front of the faithful (us) at home. Understandable really and I’ve seen it with players before and (hopefully) will do again. But dinnae fesh yersen Erling lad. We loves ya anyway and the goals will come. That assist for Gundog was superb. Keep up the good work and I’ll stop shouting ‘come on Alfie’s lad’ and start shouting ‘come on Erling’! :-)
The Goat suggested that the last chance he had which went a yard past the post was down to attempting to power the ball in.

Dinnae fesh yersen? Vikingese by folk who settled north of Hadrian's Wall?

The assist was Balotelli to Sergio and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

Erling's success will hinge on observing Kane's positioning & movement in the PL. I know many fans have said the fact Haaland stayed on the CB's shoulders created space for Gundog, KDB & Foden to score, but he was brought here be our main goal scorer.

Foden should have passed to him for what surely would've been a sitter & if Haaland had dropped deeper at times like last week against the Hammers, he'd have been more involved in the game & probably bagged another couple of goals again.
Goal hanger Haaland,
he's just our goal hanger Haaland...

I thought his Steptoe & Son cardigan with the 4 stripes, represented the number of England caps he'd won or summat, but further investigation has revealed the Pound Shop looking cardie is from the New York fashion brand "Thom Browne" & is valued north of £1500.00! :-\

I've seen better on Harpurhey Market for less than a tenner...
Maybe someone told him he'd look cool.

Mind you, he was in the shade.

When I worked at William Hill Bookmaker's in Harpurhey back in the early 80’s you could have bought the Market for a tenner, is it still going?

I honestly didn’t enjoy today one bit.

I’m glad City won now I’ve got home and had a cold shower but that was a thoroughly unenjoyable day day in that sunshine for so long.
I would have swapped with you, at my pal’s Wedding 3pm kick off, in a wooden cladded church, like a Swedish Sauna, the Bride was late, the order of Ceremony before the happy couple leave the Church read:

“an update on Man City v Bournemouth score, read by the Groom’s son”

“3-0” followed by a big cheer

My mate had three best men, his two Lads and his now wife’s son, they did a fantastic speech between them, it was time lined starting when the Sheikh bought City, a bit of improv but every year finished with “City were great, United were still shit”

Great day and the last home game I will miss this season.
