Bournemouth takeover

Won’t be a threat to us could improve tho interesting to see everyone now seems to want to go down the CFG route Chelsea Bournemouth. I think Watford and Red Bull started it before us. Palace shareholder connect to this Bournemouth thing came after CFG and haven’t Leicester gone down this route recently again after CFG. Also interesting to see that it’s another American. What impact will the war in Ukraine have on this given the Russian owner at Bournemouth assume none given he has escaped sanctions.
 
Yes we should be worried they want to turn us into a fucking tacky league full of north south playoffs , adverts at every opportunity

I think it’s lazy to lump all the Americans in together as a block. There Glazers and Kroenke have a lot of common ground but they’re nothing like Boehly or Wes Edens.

There’s been a lot of big votes in the last 4/5 years and the the US owners have never acted as a bloc.

I think that's a good point. We criticise those who attack our owner by lumping him in with other Arab owners. There is no love lost between some of these US owners. They are out to make a profit, same as everyone else who is investing in English football.
I do think however that it will accelerate the European Super League concept, hopefully in a fairer format. These US owners will not hand over their products to UEFA when they can sell them direct to the customers themselves. They will manage and run their own broadcasting platforms. The huge global interest in the PL makes it a goldmine.
