Not stopped since 6.00am. Lost the lot furniture, fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer, ripped all my flloors up; wallpaper ruined to waist height, no electric till tea time. Double large Vodka bed and go at it again in the morning.

Had the fortunate pleasure of driving through the river Dee this morning. The river had burst over onto the road and they'd closed it. I managed to get through to a clients but it was like being on a jet ski.

Finally got power and water on 2 hours ago, now have the satisfying hum of a generator the size of a shipping container outside the house providing power!! Fortunately we have a dry house unlike some who have lost so much! Hope the local authority's pull their finger out and get people sorted out.
