He's got no votes up there hence the lack of fucks given. Could you imagine the effort if his beloved shires were hit?Nice to see Dave having a meeting miles away from the problem to say thanks to those services he cut for doing something about the flooding - despite the fact he left them under manned and under paid.
Prick.

Stopped dredging as it was closed as "Non essential" a few years ago.I don't understand how this is happening so bad all of a sudden. It's not like we haven't had rain like this before. Could it be something to do with fracking or have they stopped dredging the rivers ?
Maybe it's connected to El NinoI don't understand how this is happening so bad all of a sudden. It's not like we haven't had rain like this before. Could it be something to do with fracking or have they stopped dredging the rivers ?
Apparently dredging does more harm then good as it speeds up the flow of the water. Personally I think no **** knows what's happening or how best to deal with the situation. You only have to look at the carry on in York, lower the flood defences as the pump house is flooded? How about building the new one at the TOP of the hill! You couldn't make this shit up!Stopped dredging as it was closed as "Non essential" a few years ago.
Whoever made that decision should be strung up by the balls.
Not stopped since 6.00am. Lost the lot furniture, fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer, ripped all my flloors up; wallpaper ruined to waist height, no electric till tea time. Double large Vodka bed and go at it again in the morning.
