3-5-1-1?

--------------------Hart------------------

-------Boyata----Kompany----Lescott-------

Milner-------------De Jong-----------Kolarov-

-------------Yaya--------Barry--------------

-------------------Silva----------------------

-------------------Tevez--------------------

The only problem with that, is Milner offers nothing in that system. Ultimately, he would only be there to offer discipline in terms of making sure he tracks back. But in terms of going forward, he has no pace, and without Dzeko playing, having him as a player who will cross the ball in the box makes no sense either.

I understand the rationale here, but that system makes us even more narrow than we usually are.

Johnson has to play if fit

and where does he fit unless you think Boyata is capable of fulfilling RB Duties, which I...er don't.

Least Milner can go forward and track back, whilst Boyata will be stood there letting Sunderland run at him all day and they'll get joy because he's clumsy and not the quickest.

Also AJ hasn't started for us yet back from injury and 2bh has done fuck all when starting this season anyway.

everyones entitled to there opinion but about boyata i just dont agree for one he doesnt let players get past him two he isnt clumsy this lad has all the attributes to be top class allright he has made one or two mistakes but playing centre back in the premier league its bound to happen.for me im confident he would do the job of stopping the winger running past him.

Boyata was excellent until the arsenal game, Its about time he gets another shot.

Or play Yaya at centre back and put either Kompany or Lescott at right back.

Kolarov - Yaya - Kompany - Lescott

or

Kolarov - Lescott - Kompany - Boyata

Boyata did well v Chelsea a while back at RB.

I would go

Hart

Boyata
Kompany
Lescott
Kolorov

De Jong
Yaya
Barry(to previous poster yes i do know about football but currently rate GB more than JM)

Silva

Tevez
Balotelli

Subs
Taylor
Warbara
Big Pat
Milner
SWP
Dzeko
M Johnson if fit

----------------------Hart------------------

Boyata-----Kompany-----Lescott-------Kolarov

--------------------De jong------------------

-----------------------Milner-------------------

-A.Johnson---------------------------------Silva-

---------------Balotelli---------Dzeko------------

That would be my team milner in for yaya to give him a go in the middle cause we no what he can do! and give tevez a rest and let johnson have a run out in the team and if M.J is on the bench bring him on later in the game!

ment to be other way around haha

Boyata had a great game at right back against Chelsea at home so I think he'll get the nod, probably with Milner in front of him to help out, AJ on the bench.
Shame he's not available but I always though Kolo would be a better right back than centre half. He can carry the ball long distances from defence, his passing is good and his experience means his positional sense would be better than Micah's, still the main weakness in his game, though to be fair he is young and still improving.
