Boyata or Milner at right back tomorrow ?

It's not what I would pick although it's what I expect to see trotted out.....

Boyata.........Vince........Jolene........Kolarov

....................NDJ..........Barry.................

......AJ.................Yaya...............Dave.....

What is the point in spending millions of pounds a year on an academy.
To go out and pay compensation for a 15 year old Belgium lad.
To play him 15 or so times in his short career.
To put him on the bench for 20 or so times this season.

When we get a situation where Richards, Boateng AND Zabaleta are all unavailable, people want to put two midfielders there who have hardly played there in their careers?

He's got experience with us, he's played right back for us already, playing well against Chelsea, he has already played for Belgium.

Yet one stupid mistake that ALL defenders make whether they are 19 or 29 and all of a sudden he is a liabilty who we can't risk against fucking Sunderland.

We might aswell close the academy down now if Boyata doesn't play tomorrow. If he with all his experience, good performances and already been capped at senior level by a good national team like Belgium then what hope has anyone got of making it with us in the future?

Boyata should play tomorrow and if he does he will shine like he has done in the past.

Subs: Given, Wabara, Wright-Phillips, Milner, Yaya Touré, Razak, Tevez.

I can't understand those who pick barry over Milner. Do you guys know anything about football??!!!!!
If Barry can play the way he did in midweek, then yes, I would pick Barry over Milner.

It's a very tough decision. Milner is more experienced than Boyata and would provide more of an attacking option than he would. As would SWP because of his pace, although his crossing these days is poor, but both Milner and SWP would work very hard in that slot and either would probably do a reasonable job. Boyata, as others have said, was very good at RB v Chelsea and, as already mentioned, why have these youngsters if you're not going to choose them when situations like this come up. But, he's not going to provide an attacking threat and I'd be worried he'd get caught out of position a bit. At least Milner and SWP would have the pace to get back.

Logan, no, he should have gone ages ago, if the club thought he was any good then in the time he's been here, he would have played for us more than once. Vidal got ripped to shreads by that Tchoyi in that cup game v West Brom, although I've always rated his potential.

Would probably go for Boyata, but have Milner or SWP on the bench ready in order to replace him in case it's not going well.
