I'd put boyata at CB and lescott at right back, remember him playing there a few times for everton. at least put the less experienced player in the position where he has all the experience!

Lescott at right back? Are you mental? Komps & Lescott in the middle. Boyata at right back.

You don't remember him playing right back for Everton, 'cos he never did.

My team...

..........................Hart
Boyata.... Kompany.... Lescott.... Kolarov
...........Milner .... Barry.... Silva
.......Johnson.... Tevez.... Balotelli

Subs: Taylor, Wabara, Toure, de Jong, Balotelli, SWP, Jo
we know ballotelli has a bit of a split personality, but would he get away with that

Ah, well spotted!

I meant Dzeko.

These half-arsed centre forwards all look the same to me..!

;-))

milner has to play in the middle his through passing at wembley was fantastic, you cannot play phillips at full back, they will just fire high balls into his position from the left and presure him, plus i don,t think he is arsed about playing? could barry do a job there i not sure? has to be a shuffle with boyata involved?

Any youth available? I don't think its a big problem, Sunderland will play with 1 up-front anyway so I think we have to match them in midfield.

why not Barry at full back(played there loads of times for Villa) and Milner in the middle in Barry's role, plus he has more pace than Barry

Barry at right back?

You sure?

I very much doubt he EVER played there for Villa...

i think swp's a decent idea though, i seem to recall him doing a good job at rwb under keegan

Deffo Sweep for right back(wb), can't believe people touting Barry for this position, and as for Lescot? even the Scousers used to say that if 'you run at him you will have him all over the show', plus he's to slow, centre half and thats it.

I'd definitely give SWP the nod for tomorrow. With all due respect to Boyata, who has done ok there before, SWP will provide more pace and options in attack. It's a game we have to win now Spurs slipped up today, so I'd rather we gave SWP a chance there even if he isn't a natural defender. From the training reports though, I fully expect Boyata to start.
