They should be nurtured so that they have a long and successful career with us, rather than being thrown in to satisfy the lust of the fans who, understandably, are really keen on seeing players come through. That gives us two to three seasons of appearances in cup matches, from the bench and in games where the risk is low. This builds confidence gradually and brings them up to speed with the pace, power and physicality of the Premier League. The minutes on the pitch should be steadily increased until they are ready for full-on, competitive top class football.

Brahim is 19 at the start of next season. So basically next season is the one that bridges the gap for him in your opinion? I don't think he'll even be at the club tbh. He'll be out on loan and probably won't come back.
