His number will be called sooner rather than later. Bernardo and Sterling are basically our only healthy wingers at the moment. Diaz (and Nmecha) have a wonderful opportunity ahead with Jesus and Sane both out.
It struck me that when seeing Foden taken out in the way he was, and the challenges tonight that Pep maybe reluctant to play these lads as much out of fear of them being maimed than feeling they are not ready.
Very impressive cameo, he looks more than ready to be a genuine option off the bench and has shown he can handle even the most ridiculous of challenges. Can't wait to see more of him
I've seen a fair bit of Brahim Diaz and he is an amazing talent. Just hope he can still walk tomorrow after that horrendous tackle from someone who clearly learning his tackling from the wrestling ring. I think I haven't seen a tackle like that since Chile played Italy in the 62 world cup.
Some people came to the conclusion that he’s not ready after 180 minutes of football this season. In them 180 minutes, he’s showed more than enough that he warrants a place in this team. He doesn’t look out of place at all.
