he wasnt indifferent towards us... he always gave what he had but so many ppl forget he had a stress fracture and needed time to get back into form after 2 months off... he got games in brazil and now he is back in form... ppl need to be more patient with players that are away for a long time...

To be honest i'm not sure what you're talking about. He did that 15 times for us in his first season. Last season he fractured his ankle and neither regained form or fitness. It's not an attitude thing. Maybe he should have fought for his place, but if he was under the impression he wasn't going to play much, he did the right thing from a personal point of view. The fact that he's scored to very good goals in the last two games underlines that he made the right choice, as when he was struggling at City, he was in doubt of missing out.

-- Fri Jul 02, 2010 2:20 pm --

if you're not joking then why should he have to when he's an attacker? defenders should be good enough to manage.
This.

However, he does go missing very quickly indeed sometimes but on his day, he's one of the best.
He only goes missing in games where we can't keep the ball as a team. He'd be sorted with Yaya and Silva, as well as two footballing full backs joining in. Imo anyway.

I think most supporrters were very patient with him. He was still getting a decent reception even just before he left. It is the bollocks he has spouted since he has left that has really done the damage and that is nowt to do with his injuries, just his lack of respect for our club.
