Butter on any type of buttie/ muffin/barm/bap/roll/cob/baguette or whatever- yes.
Bacon buttie sliced white bread-if it's thick yes, medium no as it falls apart
Not on pitta or nan or other flat breads.
Bread with soup- if it's creamy no- if no cream yes.
cheese on toast- no- obviously, cheesy beans on toast yes!
Dipping yer bread (warbies) to finish off home made tater ash- no.
Think it all depends on the moisture content and what you are soaking up with it.
BufordUSABlue: Hollands pies have gone crap in the last year, more of a gloopy mush with bits of mince inside, no small bits of meat and potato any more. Go to a decent local independent pie shop.
