Bread buttered or not

Does depend what on the sandwich etc....never with bacon or sausage for me...always with chips or say a tuna or chicken one...
Agree 100%.

And, in the words of Hairy Biker Dave Myers "don't use marge-it's crap"!

So its pretty unanimous that us "Northerner's" do like our Bacon/Sausage bread/barm/muffin/baps buttered/or "Marge'd" ............I knew i wasnt alone my fellow Manc's - thank you for restoring my sanity!!

And as for getting "Warbie's" bread in the Czech Republic now.....oh come on!!! To say i miss "Warbie's" bread over here is a gross understatement!!

That and Holland's pies.............aaaaarrrrghhhhh will this anguish never stop!

At least we always have American bacon (horrible stuff!) American sausages (equally horrible) and American beans (with ham and brown sugar in..enough said really!!) Thank gawd for Amazon, with free delivery of course, where i can rely on getting Heinz baked beans....delivered....priceless !! :-)

Im coming back for the Saturday test vs the Indians at Edgbaston and the first game at the "Etihad Stadium"....... so watch out for a run on Warbies, bacon, sausage and Holland pies at your local stores!!

Sausage has enough fat in anyway to make it moist; bacon, well that depends how dry it comes out from being cooked. Ketchup or brown, now thats a more imp question.

For me its bacon and ketchup, but with sausage it gotta be brown hp.

can't believe i'm sat up typing this at two minutes to four in the morning.

Is my bread buttered or not? Is this a Bluemoon clique in-joke and the replies are going over my head? I'm seeing a euphemism here.

My barm / bread is rarely buttered. I have a breakfast barm of a Friday (little treat to thank myself for getting through the week) - so it's grilled bacon on a George Formby grill, unbuttered brown and tomato sauce. I'll butter toast if I'm not putting anything on it but if I've got marmalade then it's just that.
