Breaking Bad

really underwhelmed by this show. i watched season1 and 5 episodes of season 2.

its ok,to compare it to the wire or to suggest its better than the wire is laughable.

the wire was ridiculous in every way.

this kinda gets boring after a while
 
Great show and I am glad its back.

In other news, September is a big month for tv shows.

boardwalk empire, dexter, sons of anarchy, south park all back in September then walking dead in October

Watch Season 3 and 4 and then come back and review it. Trust me.
 
After reading this I got hold of the first season and after watching 3 episodes am really struggling to watch anymore. Sad really as everyone was raving about it.

I was the same, it does get better in the 4th series.

Bit of a slow burner but I still like it. It reminds me of deadwood a bit in that it can feel a bit boring but I get hooked on it somehow. Think its mainly due to the characters.

I have to agree with you though, it doesn't really come close to touching the wire.
 
it can seem slow but i put that down to watching episode after episode and series wittin days rather then 1 episode a week as u would if it was on tv.
great show for me best american series ive seen
