Breaking records/stats thread

So Liverpool arrived at the 33 victories whilst playing 46 league matches 71.74% success.

Our "Boys in Blue" reached that total by playing 41 league matches 80.49% success.

Another record that will be difficult to beat and we still have 3 matches to play in this calendar year.
All Competitions (2021). I have us as currently at 50 wins (12 Defeats 2 draws). This has to be another record/one we probably already have??

1982 - They had 47 wins (8 Defeats 10 Draws)

Never been a fan of calendar year stats in football. I’m not even certain when they became something significant - I certainly don’t remember them being discussed 20 years ago. Wonder if it’s down to the Ballon d’Or factor and people obsessing about that?
Football should only be measured in terms of seasons as far as I’m concerned. That’s where trophies are won and what teams will ultimately be remembered for.
They were discussed in 1996, a big headline was that MUnited and Liverpool got the same number of points that year. Although it turned out Liverpool played 2 more games.

Six different scorers that's not happened to often I think

Seven different scorers that day, if you count the two OGs as two, given they were scored/conceded by different players.

Six different scorers here.

And six different scorers that evening. Granted, it was Burton, and it wasn't the PL.

You do lose track of the number of records we actually break, seems to be a different one every week. By the time Pep actually leaves (a horribly thought I know) we could probably fill both sides of A4 with them. Are there anymore left to break?
