Breaking records/stats thread

Out of all the records we set last season, which one are we most likely to break again next season? I think it's probably goals scored. We hit the woodwork 23 times so if we can be even more clinical then 107+ is very doable for this team.

The most probable is something to do with possession, or passes in a game.
 
One record I'd love us to beat next season is biggest win held by the rags, 9-0 vs Ipswich.

We are definitely capable but I get the feeling that Pep doesn't like to humiliate opposition managers.

And they were the best team in the country in the 1930s (they won 5 league titles and 2 FA Cups that decade)

In fact, in 1935 they won the league and 1936 the won the FA Cup. So to go there and win twice in a row in those years was a good achievement. Maybe even a catalyst to give us the confidence to win the title in 1937, you could say?
 
Our current goal haul of 61 in 2019 is the highest tally the club has ever had at this stage of a calendar year, 14 more than our previous best in 1932.

Not only that but this year we scored 32 goals more than the next english club
 
Yesterday we broke another 2 records, 1st the biggest margin for an English club in the knockout stages of the Champions League. 2nd Phil Foden the youngest English player to score in any Champions League game. So how many more records will we break before the season ends.
 
Also the most wins by 5 goals or more in a season with 10

Previous holder of the record was Sunderland in 1892/93 (obviously there was no European Football for them)
We still have enough games to break it with just domestic results though.

That is correct just need to replace the shaktar and schalke results
 
Just looking at a few of the records we broke last season and how we compare this season with four games left.

If we were to win our 4 remaining games, we would've only fell short of last season's points tally by 2 points, equalled the amount of wins we recorded, equalled the 2nd highest tally of consecutive wins (14 - Arsenal, 2002) and probably won't be that far off scoring 100 goals again meaning our goal difference won't be that far off last season's either.

The fact that we have almost managed to immediately replicate the best season English football has ever seen is not getting enough recognition.
