Fair enough, my bold claim of thinking Burnley must be close is 10 consecutive, one draw spoils what would have also been a 15 win streak lolIt's 15 consecutive wins in all comps - includes cups

It's the record for the football league (all comps), not just the PL which is possibly more remarkable. 58 goals for, 8 against.Fair enough, my bold claim of thinking Burnley must be close is 10 consecutive, one draw spoils what would have also been a 15 win streak lol
It was on the BBC website yesterday afternoon.City have also scored 11 goals against a single PL opponent in the same season - Leeds. I think this might be a record, can somebody check?
Now on our longest unbeaten run of away games in the PL (16 games). And Fern is our oldest scorer in the PL (37 on wednesday).

I love that Fernie is our oldest scorer. It was Lampard wasn’t it? He will always be associated primarily with Chelsea whereas, for me, Fernandinho is truly ours! Just my quirky nature. :-)Now on our longest unbeaten run of away games in the PL (16 games). And Fern is our oldest scorer in the PL (37 on wednesday).

Just for us. Off the top of my head, the Arsenal invincibles side in 2003/04 obviously went 19 consecutive away games unbeaten. And that's not counting whatever they managed at the back end of the previous campaign, or the start of the next.Is it a record for us in PL or an all league record?
Ahh but that record , which was clearly only down to the players and their manager… did at least keep Ole in charge. So , among the few remaining records that united still hold, it’s worth it.
It was a freakish run. Even if there were a lot of draws (and I can't remember the exact breakdown of that run), to go the equivalent of a season and a half without an away defeat defies logic, given the mediocrity of that squad.Mental that thats the team that holds the record. As Fergie once said 'a lot of draws'.
Still mad given how shit they were.
The thing about their away record was how journos used to say unbeaten for 18 months- not mentioning 4 / 5 months was lockdown with no games playedAhh but that record , which was clearly only down to the players and their manager… did at least keep Ole in charge.
