Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

think we have a good idea of what he said to Kyle.

Their knobhead fan's were chanting it continuously
I'm just wondering if that's enough for Kyle to go to the referee about? Racism or homophobia, I could understand. But being taunted about his private life? Is it nice? No, of course not. I'm just not sure what action the authorities can take. If it is just that. It may come out in the wash, eventually.

It's true that it's just kneejerk stuff. No problem. I virtually never look at the matchday thread, nor do I contribute to it.
No-one's obliged to look at it.
I only go on at half time and I'll be honest with you the comments from most are a fair reflection of the first half.
I can't watch the match and read my phone at the same time so probably miss the more reactive posts.
Thought we played really well last night and as many have said it could have been over by half time but the second half would have been pass, pass, pass rather than go for big scores.

Phil Foden, take a bow son. What a revelation he's been in that attacking midfield role and he has to stay there for me. We had to get that third goal last night because at 2-1 we looked dodgy for 10 minutes and gave them some chances, 3-1 killed it. Kev looks 90% back on it, Erling probably 50%. We're purring nicely, scousers beware
And he does it all while sitting on the bench.

I cant believe how much Maupay is getting under people's skin!! grow a set.

well played City, a relentless drive to 3 points at times. The goal conceded was poor, but a freak one, you rarely see that these days. I thought at 2-1 up we were under it for about 10 mins (less) around the hour mark, but we weathered it. The intensity looked good, general control, but some shakiness at the back - i just dont really see that changing though? winning 4 away games from behind on the spin...great resolve but cant go on forever.

Haaland has some catching up to do, but worked hard mostly. I thought everyone played well.

Great hat trick by Phil. Made me think of previous HTs by blues, away from home in London.

Ron Futcher at Stamford Bridge ,1978 iirc, which included a superb stooping diving header ,Niall Quinn at Selhurst v Palace ( left foot right foot and great header) and of course Dzeko bagging four at WHL ,left foot, right foot ,and a superb back header....shut spuds up good and proper.

Any other capital hat tricks by Blues ?

Very good performance last night. Battered them from the first minute. How it was only 1-1 at half-time is still a mystery to me but thankfully it didn't matter in the end. We're clicking now.
