What a fantastic, exciting game!
Don't think it was a penalty - Bobb seemed to slip as he was trying to turn on a sixpence (small silver piece of old money for those who are only conversant with decimal currency).Last on MOTD.
Not once in any TV today did they replay the foul for a pen on Bobb which transitioned into Brentford’s best chance

Savinho was not average he was wank like playing with 10 men.Apart from the lack of cutting edge in the 2nd half, we look far more solid in defence, Brentford hardly had a sniff.
No bozo moments from Nunes, who had a decent game, as did Dias, Gvardiol & O’Rielly.
Thought Savinho was average, & we missed that link up play down the left between Doku & O’Rielly, minimal threat down the left.
Nico G & Reijnders should be able to deputise for Rodri while he’s out, & Khusanov should be back after the International break
Unbeaten in 7, hopefully we’re at the start of one.At least we are a team this season.
Clearly a work in progress, but we’re defending better, even if the control isn’t fully back.
We could well click at some point and go on one of our long runs.
Just need to find that bit more creativity and composure.
It’ll come.
Sure. You can think that. I do not. We lacked urgency and progressiveness the moment he left the field. He's absolute the difference that everyone said was why we dropped off last year, of course that's not the narrative right now so.
Leave him to it mate. It's not about thinking it, what you have said is factually incorrect - we didn't stop playing or lose control in the first half after Rodri went off. Doubling down makes no difference to that.
No, your confusing fact with opinion. There is evidence but no conclusive answer. It's not about thinking it, what you have said is factually incorrect - we didn't stop playing or lose control in the first half after Rodri went off. Doubling down makes no difference to that.
He certainly isn't quick mate. I'd say the opposite. But he is doing ok and is better as a back up to Rodri than anyone else that we have. Good at winning duels and hope he continues to get better.Absolutely, when he learns how to control the tempo of a game he will be an ideal Rodri replacement, he’s deceptively quick over the first ten years, and has a good leap on him, looks really dangerous attacking the front post to, there’ll be times we need him & Rodri in a double pivot, today would’ve been one of those games (last 20 mins)
We can actually field a team with the physicality & height to compete with those that are more direct, we look good on the counter, and look like we are controlling games a lot more, certainly for longer periods, good signs
It should beg the question: How the fuck do such people get tickets when the allocation is so low? But we know the answer, don't we.The half and half scarf "fan" can barely hide her ennui, lol

Good stuff. Not in the slightest but you are entrenched in your opinion & ignoring the evidence, so I'll leave you to it.
Two tier reffing.Still amuses me that our players get done for time wasting after years of us putting up with it at the Ethiad.
Whilst you're generally right about Nico G, I didn't really mind too much yesterday just as long as, whichever pass he played, it actually reached a sky blue shirt, and they generally did .... Brentford are not a side to be handing possession too, they've shown that in other games of theirs.Today's game made me realise Nico G is very limited as a lone DM. Body orientation is very average, receives a pass and usually passes it back in the same direction, doesn't open up his body and create angles for new passing lanes. I think Stones is actually the best back-up for Rodri.
