Immediate thought would be walker, laporte. Ake, gomez as the back 4 with lewis in with phillips and foden ahead of them but now wondering to even out the distribution of left footers could we perhaps see Lewis right back, Walker and Laporte cb with ake left back with gomez in midfield?

Id love us to just not lose tso we can remain unbeaten, a win would be delightful but just don't get injured. That's the only concern at this point, treat it like a friendly if needs be.

I would be happier with Gomez in midfield as his defending is pretty weak
 
Not got one negative thing to say about that line up, if anything its reassuring to know some have got their feet up, if we lose in any of the cups it will have nothing to do with momentum or certain players not playing today, there’s also an argument that certain players need the minutes more in case they’re called upon. I’ve never give less of a shite about the result of a game under Pep than this. Hopefully for those travelling down the lads put on a show, come back fit & healthy for next week, and one or two find form, we’re gonna need a good 16-17 of the squad over the two finals, this is the chance to get them ready
