Well, I am a big fan, so I have no problem with that.
if you're happy with him starting yet again in midfield then that makes no sense whatsoever
Well, I am a big fan, so I have no problem with that.
I’m expecting it to be a very similar team to when we played them few back weeks back. Foden off the left but operating centrally with Bernardo rwWouldn't have Alvarez starting tonight but if he does then I expect Bernardo isn't quite fit enough to start
He started against Brentford a few weeks back and we played very well. It’s makes perfect sense.if you're happy with him starting yet again in midfield then that makes no sense whatsoever
Where are you , we near La Rosiere. 10 euro a pint. Costing us 160 a sessionCan't speak for anywhere else but it's on Canal + in France. I'll be going out to watch it and have a jar or two tomorrow evening.
If it makes sense to Pep I'm happy with that, because there's a 99% chance he's right.if you're happy with him starting yet again in midfield then that makes no sense whatsoever
Yeah right enough, Pep knows best.If it makes sense to Pep I'm happy with that, because there's a 99% chance he's right
Well there are lots of things that I think and we all have our own opinions but at the end of the day I know to kkep in mind I'm wrong and he's right. So I know while it might not make sense to me It probably will make sense.Yeah right enough, Pep knows best.
Just dont think he has much impact there, bernardo or phil much more suited to that central role.
Pep knows how to win titles and resting and rotating key players at the right time is essential at this stage….hopefully Bernie gets a well deserved restWouldn't have Alvarez starting tonight but if he does then I expect Bernardo isn't quite fit enough to start
I wish refs would see it the way we see it, but there would be a stark difference between the way the two 'physicalities' are treated. Our physical side will see him ripping off his pocket to get out a yellow, and VAR will offer Brentford any number of pens for the slightest contact that wouldn't waft a feather of a highly polished table. And Brentford? Well. apart from their goalie taking anything upto a minute over each goal kick, and every time the ball hits a Brentford player they will be down needing treatment, and when they are up they will have upto five or six bone-crunching tackles before the ref remembers what those cards are for! More of the same old!I think Alvarez will start again tonight, we know how Pep is with these kind of things - he usually doubles down on it. But teams that play a deep block are fine for him, where we struggle is teams that counter us because he leaves huge holes in the middle, Brentford will mostly counter direct. Brentford are a physical team, i think we need to go physical at the back to match them.
Ederson
Akanji - Stones - Dias - Ake
Rodri
KDB - Foden
Bernardo - Haaland - Doku
@Blue and trueCL night. UEFA don’t allow games kicking off at the same time as their games.
Wasn't on TV originally, so isn’t now, again also because it’s a CL night.
