Brentford tkts on sale from Wednesday.

Just to clarify, I completely support the 18-25 allocation (after all, I’m the Under 25s rep). I do slightly worry about how it seems to depend on your internet connection at 9am on the dot.
Yeh that’s fair enough, thanks for your help. One other thing that doesn’t make sense is also how 18-25 had no option to buy for Brighton and there’s been nothing said on that.

There'll still be the same moans when someone who's never previously been to an away game gets one for the derby while someone on 27k, who has rarely missed a game, misses out.
I know. But take for example the young ones. How are they meant to go, if we keep taking priority, cos we have a trillion points. Although, a big upheaval is required for supporters clubs, shocking format.

Just had a message saying sales will resume on Friday starting at 27,500 point and apologising for any inconvenience.

Of the 80 or so that should have gone to the 18-25 allocation, the malfunction (always easy to hide behind one of those) meant that around 400 people managed to buy tickets through this means.

Having spoke to the club, we agreed to move forward by refunding the entire 18-25 allocation and running a ballot for the original 80 or so tickets. The rest will be sold to points holders, hopefully on Friday.

We’re going to look at the 18-25 allocation process moving forward. The intention, although before my time, was to allow a wide variety of faces to attend away matches.

On that note, for the Brentford game, I think a ballot is probably the fairest way to allocate the remaining 18-25 tickets, given that we haven’t ran the allocation under any criteria throughout the season. That said, I will be seeking reassurance from the club about how they are running this ballot.

I feel for those who got a ticket through this avenue. It’s no fault of their own and I will be raising the point about wider reimbursement for travel (in an auditable way).

The other point is that there seems to be around 150-200 tickets missing from the general ticket point pot. I’ll be raising that at our meeting with the club tomorrow (amongst a number of other ticket office related things). More widely, I think more tickets should be going to points holders full stop.

Can you also raise the point that the 18-25 allocation never went on sale for Brighton too?

That’s the same for all ticket purchases, whether it’s a festival or a gig. My lad is 22 and City is his life. This period of away games with his mates won’t last forever. But I’m grateful that he’s had the opportunity.

It's not in the same league though.
Platinum is £50, we're talking here about people paying huge amounts more per season, and they want to jump the queue when it comes to tickets for certain games. And those games aren't away at Swansea on a Wednesday night.
We end up in a ballot mate, with an amount of tickets just as the 18-24

Thanks for sharing.

One thing that doesn’t seem to add up though is if only approx 320 tickets are going back on sale, why would the club be suggesting it’s going to go to take six windows to shift them?

My sisters fiancé works for the owner of Brentford and has secured me 2 tickets for the game tho I am in with the home fans.

Hopefully we get to see the mighty blues lift the league trophy!!
Can he get a third (I’m over 25)
