Pick a constellation, the plough is easy, watch it for a bit, it moves.
the stars are not constant and fixed, we are all moving together around the galaxy at the roughly the same speed so it gives the appearance of being fixed.

your butterfly analogy is completely flawed i'm afraid, why do you think it sits prettily on a leaf, because gravity allows it to do so, it doesn't just float off into space

allow me to ask a couple of questions i know you won't answer but anyway

just say we are flat - how far do we extend as a flat earth? i assume we have a beginning and a end

for simplicity i will assume we have 4 sides to this flat earth(we may have more who knows) what are the 4 nearest towns/cities to each edge/side, all this in depth research you cite must know this

as we are flat, we will have a top and a bottom yes? what is the depth, and with a depth we have a shape
Why is this relevant, you use the ball because it's convenient, if people just go along believing they live on the spinning ball this tiny insignificant speck. Make people believe they are stuck in the infinity of space. It's like a dumbing down of society, just accept your surroundings and move along. Do you believe we are surrounded by a firmament.

So space and the stars spin and we are stationary ? Why would the rest of the universe spin around a stationary earth ?

Please explain satellite tech to me. You also keep referring to water finding a level, but you don't believe in gravity!! How else would it find a level.

Bacup is a town on the edge.

Just ignore him. Wasting your time reading his bollocks.
Fine by me pal, didn't ask for one thing. Just replied to one post where someone else had the same belief as myself. You all take it in the wrong way, aggressive ridicule. Good day to you all, and I know for sure that there people within this community who think the same, but for fear of ridicule keep things to themselves. I would like to people to speak their minds either way.

Maybe if you replied to some posts answering some questions put to you about how a flat earth could work, or your thoughts on explanations given to your questions.
