Kidd has been coaching English teams for an eternity, if anyone knows the Premiership its him. What better assistant to show Mancini the ropes of english soccer than him? Ref. all the other examples of foreign managers with experienced English assistants

The one thing that Baconface got wrong in his backroom staff was letting Kidd go.

Was cited as a possible contender for taking over the managership, but that was to miss the point imho. Kidd is great as an Assistant Manager or on the coaching staff.

This is a great appointment by the club, always thought Hughes was let down by the Taffia.
