Brian Kidd

My brother was at CITY when kidd come he said he was a brilliant coach but also what a laugh he said he had great sense of humour always playing pranks etc just one of the lads , will be missed I'm sure

A true legend of Manchester football and a man, who is rightly respected by supporters of both clubs.

I’d imagine he’s won more trophies at the two teams than any other person.
 
I heard about this on the radio yesterday. In the report they merely said that Brian Kidd has left the club but did not mention why. I hope it was his decision.

Whatever you do next Brian, good luck and thank you for everything you have done for us as a player and a coach.
 
Wish Kiddo all the best in whatever he chooses to do. A true Manc legend on and off the pitch who stayed close to his roots and always seemed a decent, humble guy.

Said he’s having a clean break from football after losing some of the passion due to empty stadiums and the deaths of some of his friends over the last year and a half. Will find another job in football when the time is right.



Along those lines
 
Another one of football's nice guys leaves, just a down to earth lad who loved playing and coaching in Manchester. Never one for the high life and headlines, hope he finds a role somewhere coaching more up and coming talent, that is where his strength lies.

I’m not a fan of the honours system but if it has to exist, and you are going to have people in football knighted, then Sir Brian Kidd would be one who deserves it for his services to the whole of Manchester football. Rather that than Alistair Campbell telling Tony Blair to knight a toxic pisscan because it would be great PR
