If Ade was on 30k a week like Carroll was he would of gone

We should at least get £20M for Ade as he is a top striker, with that £20M we could pay his £5M loss of earnings and still come out with more then we're getting offered for now!

Roberto's a control freak perfectionist. He gets frustrated over things he can't dictate. He sees it how it affects his role without looking at things from the point of view of others in the club.

For example, last year he slagged off the physios after Aguero's "injury". But overall we had the best fitness record in the league and finished the season physically very strongly, again.

Marwood's got a helluva job clearing up the deadwood from the pre FFP, phase 1, years. Its inevitable that, because we are moneybags City, other clubs will indulge in brinkmanship with us.

How on earth can you criticise Mancini's attitude and ethos when he's been such a successful appointment? It's only natural that he is frustrated because he sees players we could potentially sign and players he wants to sell - but the man responsible for doing this has been unable to negotiate deals to do so.

If you buy a car for 10 grand and realise afterwards it's only worth two, and you need to sell it, what do you do?

Hang on to it for 20 years hoping to get 8 grand for it and never managing to sell it, only to see it rust to bits and then call the scrap metal merchant and paying them to take it away?

Or,

Think fuck that was a balls up, and sell it for 2k and put it behind you. At least you have 2k in your pocket.

We should have got rid of the dead wood years ago, for what ever we could get for them. Giving them away if necessary. Giving them away and paying half the wages even.

Anything that saved us one penny on wages would have been better than keeping them.

If Newcastle can shift Caroll for £35M and yet we struggle to shift Adebayor for anything close to £10M there's got to be some shitty dealings on Marwoods part?
