The facts:
Ball is shyte, Garrido is getting better but not a top6 left back
Bridge is a regular england squad player and excellent crosser of the ball. We're buying a target man who'll crave good crosses
Yes hes prob only worth £7-8m but add the fact its january and add the fact its chelsea thats why we'll pay 30% over the odds
BUT, he will drastically improve an area of the team that is weak and hopefully help ensure the LCB back does not constantly get pulled out of position (as Dunne has been this season)
3-4 weeks to get match fit is better that 3-4 months for an import to settle
