He'll happily sit out his contract while shopping with his girlfriend. No professional pride at all, he'll retire as soon as he's leeched his last penny out of football.
To be fair, professional pride does not come in to it. If our own bosses came to us and said we'd like you to take a new job that will be harder work for half the money, none of us would jump at the chance.

He refused a loan move to Celtic where he'd have been earning the same money, just with Celtic paying a small % of it and us the rest.

Ok appreciate that, but again if my boss told me to go and work for a company that was garbage compared to my own for the same money I'd tell them where to go...football is different though.

Celtic would suit everyone, he'd probably do ok in Scotland until Izaguirre is fit. Other than that tho, he's just not up to it anymore, not sure he ever was to be honest. Just hyped because he was young and english playing first team football in the premm then he was at Chelsea so everyone assumed he was good.

Someone mentioned Swansea, Neil Taylor is way better than Bridge, and probably on less than 10% his wage :)

rumours on twitter that Wayne is at Celtic Park just now. looks like he might be going there on loan..

we must be paying most of his wages :(

Well, if they only pay £20k week - that's a million in the bank for us

Just been asked by my mates who support Leeds, if the rumour he is heading there for a medical is true. I havent heard much i just wondered if anybody thought this might be a likely deadline day destination.

Had the pleasure of spending one match in his personal executive box with his friends and family. Nicer more welcoming down to earth people you could not wish to meet so lay off the guy you don't become a bad player over night. A good injury free run in a team will see him return to his England form. Not many people would invite someone they met only a few times to mix with his family. As you might guess he no longer rents the box anymore.

I think this is more of a reflection of a real lack of class English left backs as oppose to testimony to Bridge's talent.

Jimmy Traore has a Champs League Winners medal with Liverpool- does that make him a good player?

our Wayne has gone from outside Celtic Park, to Wolverhampton train station, and then to a car park in Newcastle, all in the space of 1 hour.

Bet he stays :(
