Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

One of the most bent games of football I’ve seen in a very very long time

after what I’ve seen so far in tonight’s matches.. I’m convinced the PL have instructed the officials in the matches that have nothing riding on them to look after the home teams as a reward to the fans

even so it was 12 v 9 for 80 minutes and we were playing 1970 Brazil in front of 80,000 rabid ultras if you believe the two cocks commentating

4 decisions ...

Our red card
Their non red card
Their offside goal
Our non given pen

and they were just the major bent decisions.. there were probably about a dozen more shake your head decisions that didn’t lead to anything

I had no idea that prick was refereeing the final. They're not even trying to hide it, are they?
 
Worst game I've watched for some time, all because of Atwell the corrupt prick. Nothing game so nothing will be said of it or come of it, but that was as bent a ref performance I've ever seen, and we've got that Spanish twat in the CL final to come yet.

Cancelo & Rodri played themselves our of the CL starting line up, not the worst thing as they both can be suspect under pressure.

Hoping the Gundogan injury isn't to serious. That's about all I care about with one more game to come.
 
Shocking ref and VAR performance,but I’m concerned about being 2 up and falling to pieces at times defensively even allowing for being down to ten men,reckon the crowd energised Brighton as if no crowd tonight that game ends up 2-0 or 2-1 to us,regardless of ten men ..
 
I thought BHA played the perfect game against 10 men

Wtf was the ref and Moss on var doing?
They are an absolute disgrace to the sport and their profession
That was a fucking shocker on Gundogan and a nailed on pen at the end

And no matter where we are in the season and the personnel taking the field for us, we are leaking goals like mad which is very worrying

In a game such as that we need a leader in centre midfield and Rodri fell well short. He's definitely played himself out of the CL Final

Finally, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out Garcia. You were awful ..... again
 
Not bothered about the result, infuriating game however, the officiating was Sunday league level at best.
Shame we didn’t get to see more of Torres, although watching Garcia did provide a good laugh.

Was an absolutely nothing game, just hope gundos okay and he just went off as precaution, would be a massive massive miss to have him out of the final
 
Get it all out the system, ahead of the final. The shit refereeing, the errors, the unlucky miss here and there, the misplaced pass. One.of those games, het it all out, move on.

The bias from the commentary was ridiculous. You can have an opinion either way about the potential Jesus penalty, but they literally didn't even mention the possibility that it could be a penalty until it was confirmed that VAR were checking it. I honestly thought when they stopped the game that they were going to try and claim a penalty in our box for Dias(?) being dragged back.

Brothers in arms. Two slow coaches in midfield. We need quick silky midfielders who can make through passes. These two slow us down to a crawl. Gundoguns goals is a one season wonder and just papers over the cracks
