Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

Game meant nothing. good enough performance against an awful ref. Pity Rodders didn’t look before passing but result means nothing. Good practice against continuous pressure. Don’t get the point in slagging off any city player even Garcia.

It’s very difficult to really get a handle on it
It’s either corrupt or utterly incompetent
Too hard to judge
I just can’t figure what was to be gained by screwing us over tonight.
It was sickening to watch and I’m not surprised Pep was furious at the end.
Dare I say it, we were minding ourselves tonight, but all the same not the best preparation for the final. We learned nothing accept who won’t be playing.

VAR? Even the scorer of the third has just said he thought he was offside. So did I. Never saw a replay from VAR though.

The game means nothing but I’m still disgusted with the same bent shite we see all season.

Cracking game. Obviously the sending off changed everthing, but credit to Brighton, they played well. I don’t think it was a sending off offence, they just got tangled up and fell over. The ref gave us nowt, if we’d won the toss at the start, he would have given it to Brighton.
Great goal from Phil, and I thought Dias played well. It was nice to hear a crowd again, the atmosphere was electric.
I hope Gundog isn’t too seriously injured.
Are you right in the head? Serious question

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

VAR is just two bent refs instead of one.
Jon Moss as VAR at a club owned by Tony Bloom. Nobody should be in the least bit surprised at any of that especially the last penalty incident with Lalana. I’d wager there was a slightly better angle that he didn’t look at........
