I know he's not been his best I'm hoping for one last super game from him

Christ sake surely Dave's good enough too play against fucking Brighton
Interesting article on referee bias at: https://footballisfixed.blogspot.com/2019/04/lizards-lacertae-liverpool-thread.html?m=1
It mentions
"...Without referee bias, City would have sealed the title at Old Trafford.."

"...Massive insider positions exist on Liverpool stealing the league..." "A lot rides on their (Oliver and Tierney's) 'performance'

"...Michael Oliver has the most explaining to do as his input is biased to statistically significant levels across the systemic corruptions outlined above..."

All this should be brought out into the open if true WHY haven't the media picked up on on it, it should be investigated too see if its legit or a load of bollocks

Liverpool beating Barcelona makes no difference to anything, city need to be Brighton on Sunday as before. It's not in Liverpool's hands.

!00% this. Doesn't matter how up for it Anfield is, how much their players wear Never Give Up t-shirts or anything else. The ghost of Shankly could appear before the Kop, round every Wolves player twice, dribble it to the goal line get on his knees and roll the ball in using his head to make it 17-0 and we could score a single scruffy Aguero off-the-knee goal and the title is still coming to us.

im getting a bit tired of hearing about liverpool in this thread. they are as relevant to our team on sunday as Huddersfiled are.

City need to win, just like they do every single game they play.

remember peeps, we are playing brighton, NOT liverpool.

so on that note, i think a team of

ederson
walker
stones
eric
zinchy
gundog
silva
silva
sterling
aguero
sane

should rip them a new arsehole. pressure and time, thats all it takes .. pressure and time!!

3-0 City.

They will be turfed out 100% , i'd be very suprised if any Brighton season ticket holders sell on their tickets to City fans as Brighton are absolutely on it , by that i mean if the person named for that seat isn't sat in that seat and caught they lose there season ticket no refunds , banned from the ground for a period of time and all loyalty points are lost , it's simply not worth it , there maybe a few non season ticket holders willing to risk it but these people all have a purchase history account and will be banned as well , of course all this depends on wether the home fans suss out you're a city fan before they turn nasty and bubble up to the stewards or worse it kicks off , which it has done in the past hence the heavy penalties for home fans selling there tickets on , if any City fans are lucky enough to bag a ticket in the home end i'd suggest trying to keep a lid on it for as long as you can and no way should you consider wearing colours because that will end in tears for sure .

Indeed - living down here I've got friends who are Brighton season ticket holders telling me that no one in their right mind would let a stranger have their season ticket - and given the circumstances one was honest enough to say he'd be pretty reluctant to let me have it either, despite our friendship, given that one accidental celebration for a City goal would likely lose him his season ticket. Fair enough too.

For the same reason he cautioned against buying from the re-sale sites, and that Brighton were extremely hot on shutting that down.

It's started.

Duffy is already saying they will put in an effort and try and win the game.

They are safe, are relaxed, and will give it their all.

its just talk for the brighton fans most part. they will be relaxed, yes, but being relaxed will not turn them into a team with the beating of city. i think they will have less motivation than a usual game, or if they were facing the relegation trap door.

But us 3-0 up at half time would be better.

It will be a good game. They are safe so can play with a bit of freedom knowing they’re not fighting for survival, so hopefully they’ll open up a bit, which will allow us to exploit the gaps.
We MUST take our chances though. Squandering multiple opportunities without success, just creates a nervousness in the players and the crowd.
Get it out to bed early please Blues. I’m a bit envious of those that have managed to get a ticket.
Have a wonderful day and a safe journey home, hopefully with the PL trophy.

Not for a while, which means we might be due one? ;-)

It could easily be a tight game (again) but you never know when a Chelsea-esque finishing masterclass is going to occur.

You could see the tension in most of our shooting on Monday night, like a golfer in contention going down the back 9!

Now that VK has broken his duck this season what odds a towering header from him or Aymeric on Sunday?
Christ take a chill pill, same old you in every pre-match thread

It's true though kaz

@OfficialBHAFC defender Lewis Dunk: “The whole world will be watching and it’s a big chance to show what we’re about - it will be a historic game to be involved in... In the last home game we want to send the supporters home happy with something to cheer about.”

what they want and what they are going to get are two very very different things!!!

Not sure that we had nothing to play for - it was the first game of the season wasn't it?

We've been notoriously slow starters this season, conceding loads of goals in the first 20 minutes (see semi-final for starters)

If you score early, I can see it being 3 or 4

Hughton is always cautious - we'll defend deep, try and get Glenn to win us free kicks and then throw D & D forward.

I'm thinking this may well be Dunk's last game for us - hope I'm wrong as he'll be very hard to replace but he's far too good for us.
Was talking about the last game of last season, we were going for 100 points. It was Brighton who had nothing to play for, not is. Sorry just been pointed out it was the Southampton game I was thinking of

Surely knowing that the dippers havent won the league will give them something to cheer about.

I've always rubbished the notion of teams at home on the last day of the season have nothing to play for, they all want to win their last game at home for the fans,if anything the shackles are off and it's a harder game

A quick reminder to anyone trying their luck with selling tickets......please use the ticket forum and as per the our rules....do not request anything more than face value.

Thank you.

Too much shitting the bed because the dippers won a CL game, our lads are not bothered by that, they are focussed on the title,it might be a grind but who cares so long as we win

when you see mo salah fall down anywhere inside the box and the referee gives a pen and then you see sterling getting mashed and nothing ?? you bet am shitting myself

look its in our own hands and not only manchester city players and manaer can control our game but the referee and officials also will have a big part in it ?? and with what as been said by the head of the premier league and the way liverpool getting results you have to feel a twist is on the cards, if we are not 100% on fire and kill the game and take a big percentage of our chances then the referee has the chance to be a star ??

its a hard game and away from home and all that ?? brighton will be safe and under no pressure what so ever and a free ride so makes it 100% harder with them nothing to lose, pressure is on and manchester city must respect brighton

I'm still having nightmares about the last game at Maine road versus the saints .was a big day and we didn't turn up.shocking performance and lost 1-0
